I came into the revelation that demons are just like flies, and they are attracted into our lives in almost exactly the same way as flies.
Flies come in through open doors or open windows. They come into our houses when those openings are left with free access. Once inside, they roam around all the rooms in the house, and they find preferred spots depending on which areas are dirtier, have moisture, water, scraps of food, and things like that. Typically, this is the kitchen, where food in the house is generated.
Now, the house in this similitude represents your being, your heart, your mind, your spirit. Your being, your body, and the place where food is generated will be your soul. This is where they typically like to inhabit: the thoughts, the thinking part of your being, the reasoning part of your being.
Those open doors through which they enter are likened to the open doors we have in our lives.
HOW THEY ENTER AND MULTIPLY
Once they have entered, just like flies, the same ease with which we would get rid of flies, expel them from the house, or kill them, is exactly the same ease with which you expel demons, get rid of them, detach from them, or denounce them in your lives. Exactly the same ease. They are just like flies.
They are the physical manifest. They are the spiritual prototype for flies. Flies are a physical child of demons.
Just the same way flies lay eggs on dirty surfaces and dirty, wet areas, which then multiply to become many more flies, is the same way a demon gains access into your mind and your thoughts. When it finds favourable areas of your thoughts, unchanged thoughts, fallen thoughts, and evil thoughts, it stays there, intermingles with those thoughts, and lays its eggs on the scaffolding of those thoughts.
Those eggs, demon ideas and ideologies, then grow, hatch, and yield more mature demons in your mind and in those thought processes. They fortify into a more complicated network of falsehood, false beliefs, false thinking, and false reasoning in your mind. They become more potent, more strongly ingrained, and when you speak, you communicate them with force of conviction and total sincerity.
They also become more difficult to remove because of their sheer number and presence. There is power in numbers.
STRONGHOLDS AND BELIEVED LIES
This is how demon strongholds and very strongly believed lies are formed in the minds, in the houses, of the people they inhabit.
The lies become believed by the owners and are communicated with conviction and sincerity, all while not knowing that they are wrong. This happens because they have isolated themselves from truth, or looked away from truth, which is God’s Word.
When one turns their face away from truth, from studying the Word of God and hearing the Word of God as spoken by the Holy Spirit, they separate themselves from the water and the light that can wash away the dirty spots in their minds that become infested with demons.
Demons like dry and dark places. Water and light represent the Word of God. The water and the illumination that come from the revealed Word of God are the light.
LOUD DEMONS AND QUIET DEMONS
The characteristics of demons, in terms of personality and character, are exactly the same as flies.
Some are noisy. Some are quiet. Some irritate the host by the sheer noisiness and loudness of their presence. Just like certain flies in a house, you can tell they are there because of their loud buzzing and irritation. They fly around your ears, your face, your feet, your mouth, your eyelids. They parade themselves in your face.
Those ones cause irritation. They frazzle you and irritate you to bits. But at the same time, those flies are usually the easiest to kill because they are so obvious. Their noisiness means you cannot tolerate them for long, so you are moved quicker to get rid of them, and conversely, they are easier to kill.
On the other hand, some demons, like flies, enter a house quietly. Even when they fly around, they do so quietly. They hide in spots, perch, go somewhere to lay eggs, and can be present for days without people realizing they are there.
They are often only discovered when an area is shaken, when something new is introduced, or when something changes in what was previously a quiet area. This startles the demon or the fly, and it moves to find a new location. This is often how we discover their presence.
WHY QUESTIONING MATTERS
This is why shaking things up in what you believe is important. Constantly revisiting old beliefs. Asking yourself why you believe the things you believe. Allowing yourself to be questioned. Allowing your beliefs to be questioned so you can see whether you can defend them.
The Bible tells us to always be ready to give an explanation, a reason for what we believe, for the hope we have, and to do this with gentleness and humility.
Areas inhabited by demons, and thought processes inhabited by demons, very characteristically do not want to be disturbed by thoughtful reasoning or questions. A lie cannot withstand truth, so demons prefer their lies to remain unchecked and unquestioned.
WHEN QUIET DEMONS GO UNCHECKED
Those quiet, sneaky, strategic demons would much prefer that you do not know they are there. They go unnoticed while spreading their lies in your mind, in your thoughts, gaining ground, encroaching on other areas, laying eggs, and multiplying demons through new ideologies.
These ideologies form interconnected webs in your mind. Before you know it, your whole thinking and personality have changed. New thought patterns form new highways in the mind, all interconnected, all encroaching on new ground, until origins of the mind become demon countries.
Those thought patterns, left unchallenged and unchecked, eventually begin to express in DNA and in physical appearance as well.
This is why you can sometimes recognize the presence of evil spirits in people simply by looking at them. Their natural facial expression, physical appearance, the way they dress, their hair, makeup, styles, clothing, outfits, piercings, and accessory choices.
Everything that is physical first starts in the spirit.
