Making it a Non-Negotiable Habit for kids to Hear the Word of God daily

by Dr Theodora Banigo Ekwevugbe

Hello parents, good evening.

I hope you’ve all had a good week so far.

Please can we continue to remind and encourage our children to make it a daily, non-negotiable habit to get into the Word of God?

There are two key reasons for this:

1. It’s a good habit to build early in life.

2. It’s an essential part of every believer’s life.

Just like our bodies need daily food, our spirits need daily nourishment. When a believer neglects the Word, they starve their spirit, and as a result, the soul and flesh will naturally begin to take over and dominate their choices, behaviours, and mindset.

The only way to grow strong in spirit is by feeding on the Word of God consistently. Let’s also remind them to stay in the word, and build and environment where they can encounter the word easily at many opportunities.

Thank you all so much for your continued investment in their spiritual growth.
