Hello, parents.
Before I started making my own books, targeted specifically to the information I wanted to teach my children, in a way that would allow them to learn, enjoy themselves, and have fun at the same time, I went through a period of searching online and hunting for children’s books.
I was looking for appropriate books from trusted authors and creators that conveyed the messages I wanted to teach, sometimes in words I didn’t have, or in a way that provided more depth and enhancement than I could offer at the time.
That search led me to these books.
They became a useful and enhanced padding for our journey in the early days, a helpful cushion and an additional resource as I navigated teaching my children the things I wanted them to understand.
Eventually, as my needs became more specific, I found myself wanting to create exactly what I wanted to say, in exactly the way I wanted to say it, and targeted to the particular situations and lessons I was trying to address. That is what eventually led me to begin making my own books.
If you are also searching for additional resources to pad and enrich your journey with your children, take a look at these.
